Our ‘Cybersafe Celebs’ Strike Again!!
Posted on 11th September 2020Cybersafe Ireland launched their annual report on 10th September. This report indicated the opportunities for learning and enjoyment that technology can deliver, but also outlined that many pupils in our schools are talking to people they don’t know online, more than once a week and that one in three boys are ‘gaming’ with people they do not know! This report showed that we have a responsibility to equip our pupils with the tools to stay safe and avoid harm while using technology. To highlight the importance of this, RTE News visited the school to speak to a number of our super scholars – and of course, our scholars were typically terrific.
